That is where real spiritual evolution begins, when things get messy. When you have to own and apologize for words spoken in haste, or pull your energy back in, or be understanding that someone else's bad day is not a personal attack on you.
When you own your faults and work to overcome them, they no longer own you. WHen you deny them, or try to just transcend them without the dirty work, then they are in charge.

I couldn't agree more with what you are saying. I've always said that it is easy to be forgiving, loving, calm, peaceful, and spiritual when everything is moving along smoothly or there aren't any "issues" in your life. I believe that the true measure of how much you really ARE what you say is when the you know what hits the fan and you are called to LIVE it.
